It is named as yellow corydalis and it produces bright, golden-yellow flowers. It blooms over a long period, from late spring through frost. The one to two inch long flowers have four petals arranged in an irregular tubular shape with a spur in the back. Flowers are borne in racemes of six to 16 flowers on stems that rise above the foliage. Slender, dehiscent capsules (i.e., seedpods that naturally break open along a seam) follow the flowers. Capsules eventually burst to scatter their seed.

One of our group enjoying the lovely Valley of Flowers with the team of Blue Poppy Holidays. This old fashioned crinum lily is a low maintence plant that produces lovely, large, striped, lily-like flowers. The stripes are alternately wine pink and white. The flowers also have a wonderful faintly sweet fragrance. The tall bloom stalk stands about 18-24 inches above the abundant foilage and holds 5+ blooms at a time! These will produce several flower stalks during the warmer months with the majority of blooms coming in the spring and fall. These lilies will multiply by producing bulbs underground as well as from the seeds that form after the blooms. You will have a lovely large group of these in no time. Milk and Wine Lily is native to India. Flowering: June-August.
